Description:SUPERVISOR - Production Supervisor-Machining and AssemblyOpportunity for an experienced Production Supervisor-Machining and Assembly to lead, manage and develop your team.Hours: Monday- Thursday 6-4pm.Pay: $60k to $80k DOEWe are searching for a Production Supervisor to lead our team through skilled processes, communication and problem-solving techniques. You'll be able to use your manufacturing or production experience to create results. In addition, you must possess a high-level ability to execute the Master Production Schedule and achieve the factories objective of building a high-quality product, on time, at or below cost.Are you at your BEST AT WORK when you can:Plan, organize, direct, and run optimum day-to-day operations to exceed our customer's expectations.Ensure production operations in machining and assembly are running effectively and efficiently with continual improvements in the aspects of processes, production and waste.Ensure a clean and safe work environment.Lead, manage and drive accountability, provide growth opportunities to employees and promote teamwork throughout the department.Ensure staffing levels are maintained and that adequate cross training is provided to backup each position to provide optimal results.Build a world class department by attracting and retaining the best talent for all positions and train and develop future leaders in the organization.Show initiative to create and improve processes to meet deadlines.Collaborating with talented people from other departments.Responsible for production output, product quality, and on-time shipping.List all production issues on the GEMBA boards and lead the daily GEMBA walk in your area.Escalate any issues that need to be addressed that are hindering production from meeting due dates.Address employee issues promptly and equitably.Effectively communicate with employees and others as required in the daily execution of assigned duties.Promote a lean, continuous improvement culture to develop headcount plans and production flow processes to efficiently meet customer demand.Monitor production efficiency and identify issues negatively affecting production efficiency, and work with employees and manufacturing engineers to address these issues.Skills:Production management, Supervision, Continuous improvement, Assembly, Workflow, production planning, schedule managementAdditional Skills & Qualifications:Is it YOU we are looking for:You have 3-5 years of successful management experience.You have 3-5 years of heavy equipment or manufacturing experience.Understanding of Lean Principles.Understanding of Microsoft Office software products.Excellent problem-solving techniques.Knowledge of welding and fabrication preferred..Experience Level:Expert Level About Aerotek:We know that a company's success starts with its employees.
