Job Description:

Centra Healthcare Solutions is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) that is licensed or in the immediate process, and qualifies, of obtaining RN licensure in this respective state to work as Charge Nurse in the specialty area of SNF. This assignment is flexible as a local contract, local contract to direct hire, or as a travel assignment.
The Charge Nurse demonstrates advanced knowledge, skills and understands the unique aspect of the population served in the care of his/her patients. Each service also requires specialized skills. The delivery of care is based on the physical, psychosocial, cultural, safety and learning needs of the individual patient. The Charge Nurse may rotate to areas other than his/her assigned service areas, and will perform only those duties for which he/she has demonstrated competency. The Charge Nurse performs delegated duties consistent with the scope of practice and functions within the philosophy and overall plan of care delivery at the hospital. The Charge Nurse Role incorporates all of the RN position as above, and includes the additional responsibilities of directing shift operations with schedules, assignments and coordination of resources.
Minimum Requirements include:

2 years of recent experience as a Charge Nurse in SNF.
Current Registered Nurse License within the state of practice.
Current BLS
Current ACLS/PALS (if applicable, per facility requirement)
