Operations Lead at Central Valley Ag is intended to be a
developmental position to ready individuals for higher levels of
responsibility for the agronomy division. As our Operations Lead
you will be responsible for managing the dry & liquid plants,
inventories, and help to dispatch operations in-season. ESSENTIAL
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Champion CVA's culture of quality
agronomy service initiatives. 2. Assist and investigate all product
& agronomy claims by customers. 3. Assist in supervising the day to
day operations of the location. 4. Assist in managing employees at
the individual location. 5. Assist in interviews, hiring, training
and motivating employees. 6. Assist in planning, assigning and
directing work of employees. 7. Learns to maintain fiscal
responsibility for the individual location through margins,
volumes, asset allocation, and expense control and inventory
maintenance. 8. Regulates the inventory at the individual location.
9. Manages the customer base through excellent customer service and
customer relations. 10. Markets the location's products and
services with knowledge of these products and services. 11.
Interacts with management at other locations to maximize the
agronomy, feed and grain product assets. 12. Comply with current
Central Valley Ag credit policies. 13. Assists other divisions and
locations as needed. 14. Maintains and promotes a safe work
