Salary Description $16 to $20 per hour Description: We take the mystery out of money and provide resources to make the journey more accessible and enjoyable for our members. As a Mortgage Processing Specialist 1, you will assist in the loan process to ensure timely, courteous, and confidential processing, closing, and shipping of all types of loans for members. Your success in this position helps our members reach their financial goals. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Include the following -

• Answer phones and great in-person members and guests.
• Point of contact for members on loan documents needed.
• Communicate with Mortgage Loan Originator and Mortgage Processing Specialist II on pending loan documents.
• Follow up with member post-closing with thank you letters, surveys, and referrals.
• Order out all verifications, titles, and appraisals, as needed.
• Manage mortgage pipeline and process mortgage loan withdrawals and denials.
• Back up Mortgage Processing Associate
• Assist with other mortgage duties and processing overflow as needed.

  • Must demonstrate a good understanding of the mortgage process and mortgage documentation. Requirements: Education and Experience: High School diploma or GED and 2-3 years related banking or mortgage loan processing experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
