Batching and Bottling Supervisor Newport Laboratories is seeking
an experienced individual to join our team as a Batching and
Bottling Supervisor. Newport Labs, located in Worthington,
Minnesota, is a leading provider of USDA autogenous vaccines and
diagnostic services, and was recently acquired by Vaxxinova (more
information below). About the role The Batching and Bottling
Supervisor role is responsible for planning, coordinating, and
supervising all activities in Batching and Bottling department to
ensure excellent customer service, quality products and regulatory
compliance. Summary of Responsibilities: Provide supervisory
leadership to Batching & Bottling production personnel and
supervise related activities.Oversee and coordinate bottling of
product with the Production Planner and case managers.Oversee and
coordinate all concentration purification processes.Understand all
related SOPs and insure all Batching and Bottling personnel adhere
to them.Insure records and documents used in the Batching &
Bottling processes are properly filled out and maintained.Maintain
equipment in order to meet project and regulatory
requirements.Monitor all phases of Batching and Bottling process to
insure proper and acceptable laboratory practices are adhered
to.Insure all personnel are properly trained with regards to good
and safe laboratory practices and procedures and each have
participated in designated training sessions with regards to
company policies, specified SOPs, and regulatory compliance
issuesInsure the facilities are properly maintainedReview
performance of personnel at required intervalsBe familiar with and
insure compliance with applicable regulatory agencies including the
USDA, OSHA, Federal, State and Local AgenciesCompletes other duties
as assigned Qualifications and Capabilities: Familiar with
regulatory agencies including the USDA/CVB, C-CVB, VICH, OSHA,
Federal, State, and Local Agencies Familiarity with the principles
of veterinary biologics, vaccine production, quality control and
regulatory agencies Self- starter and attention to detail Strong
organizational and time management skillsGood verbal and written
skillsCommunications skills to effectively work with teams, across
departments, and outside vendorsProblem solving skillsIndependently
set goals and priorities for the departmentsDirect, write and
review reports; capable of creating policy and guidance
documents.Manage and influence individuals and groups to drive
business objectives Quickly assess, prioritize, delegate, and
manage cross-functional departmentsAbility to write and follow
department SOP's (Standard Operating Procedure)Ability to read,

clearance/fit testing Experience/Educational Requirements: High
school diploma or equivalent and 7 years of work-related
experience; or Associates Degree or higher, with 5 years of
work-related experience 3 years of lab experience at a minimum
