The Training & Content Creator Intern will be given a product or products for which to outline a training program. They will develop content based on examples, field experience and engineering communications to put together a final project that will be used by the customer to understand the product being presented. This project will include EDGE Online (video) and classroom content (presentations, labs, and video).
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Collaborate with subject matter experts to understand the benefits, features, and relevance of the multiple products and services that Raven offers.
• Edit, update, and refine existing online or classroom content.
• Create new and fresh learning content and experiences that are engaging as well as informational
• Write audio scripts and design videos that cover complex concepts using the Adobe Cloud suite of programs
• Breaking down complex or complicated concepts into smaller, simpler learning experiences that are either standalone or part of an online course.
• Learn and apply adult learning techniques to online or classroom training content
• Learn how to apply instructional design concepts when developing adult learning content, especially in the online environment.
• Complete projects as assigned within internship discipline.
• Attend Raven sponsored training and educational seminars.
• Engage and participate in Raven sponsored events.
• Work closely with assigned mentor and manager to reach a successful completion of internship.
• Provide periodic updates to managers and peers on assigned project(s).
• Complete summer end internship presentation.
• Demonstrates the Dimensions of Competition and Raven Team Member Values in their daily actions and encourages their teams to do the same.
• May be called upon to perform comparable duties of a similar or related nature and/or assist in other areas as needed.
• Learning, understanding, continuously improving, and promoting the division's quality management system in accordance with ISO standards
  QUALIFICATIONS
  • College student or recent graduate in specified course of study necessary to be successful in defined internship position.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and tasks simultaneously, without close supervision.
  • Problem-solving abilities. Ability to identify waste and creatively look for solutions.
  • Ability to work with high level of confidentiality.
  • Capacity to be flexible and multitask.
  • Proficient with a computer, including Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with team members and leadership staff.
  • Freshman, sophomore, or junior level studing communications, education or marketing
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and tasks simultaneously without close supervision.
  • Ability to work with high level of confidentiality.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
  • Ability to use a computer and software as defined necessary for the internship.
