Overview



















Join the growing, fast-paced, and high-performing Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) department within the broader Chief Risk Office (CRO) organization. As the 2nd line of defense, ERM develops and manages Risk programs, reporting, and performance measurements across all lines of business. The AVP Business Support Specialist will provide support and thought leadership across both ERM and CRO initiatives. Primary responsibilities include the creation of executive-level presentation materials, the coordination of regulatory examinations, and the facilitation of enterprise key risk metrics. Additionally, the role will assist with the implementation of enterprise risk management programs for the Bank and promoting a company-wide culture of compliance and risk management within the business units.



























Responsibilities



















Essential FunctionsGenerates content for executive level meetings, business presentations, townhalls, regulatory examinations, corporate communications, etc.

• Supports the Chief Risk Office in executing its strategic agenda through organizational design, program development, and senior management committee facilitation.
• Translates complex and detailed subject matter into simplified and visually appealing representations.
• Provides both onsite and remote support for regulatory examinations including facility logistics, documentation requests, and meeting coordination.
• Partners with the Marketing Department to ensure organizational content is aligned with corporate branding and formatting.
• Coordinates the line of business quarterly Risk Dashboard Reporting framework and provides input to enrich the metrics, commentary, and overall MIS reporting.
• Fosters close working relationships throughout the organization and communicates within and outside the department to answer risk questions and make suggestions on improvements.
• Drives culture of safety and soundness across The Bancorp.
• Supports the broader Risk organization in evolving the risk framework across all business units, ensuring alignment with the Enterprise Risk Management framework (ERM).

  Education/Experience Requirements

• Undergraduate degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
• Three years financial institution experience specifically supporting executive presentations and/or regulatory examinations.Preferred Requirements
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work independently.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and organize work to meet deadlines.
  • A team player able to work effectively in a team fostered, multi-tasking environment.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office suite, e.g. PowerPoint, Word, Outlook.
