Administrator you will be responsible for managing complete network
services including on-prem and cloud networking, firewall security,
intrusion protection/prevention, DNS services
configuration/troubleshooting, internet circuits, wireless,
implementing network security best practices, network related DR
plans, and providing mentorship to other IT team members in a
cloud-first corporation. Some key duties and responsibilities
include:
- Architect, configure, and document core Cisco Meraki on-prem
networking services including internet circuits, routers, switches,
wireless, firewalls, VPN, radius server, networking/DNS, ACLs,
performing firmware upgrades, and monitoring across the
organization.
- Architect, configure, and document Azure/AWS/Google cloud
networking services including virtual networks, gateways,
firewalls, VPN, radius server, ACLs, route tables, DNS, security
best practices, etc. across the organization.
- Work closely with our M&A team to assist in orchestrating
and performing M&A migration plans from new/old on-prem
networking systems to newer Meraki/Azure services.
- Work closely with our IT Security team to implement Azure
Security Center recommendations based on security best practices
and recommendations from this team.
- Assist in configuring and documenting Azure Backup and Azure
Site Recovery policies and procedures as they relate to networking
across the organization. Schedule and perform testing against these
solutions.
- Develop and maintain IMEG's physical IT room standards and work
with our IT Security team on implementing security best practices.
Work with IMEG Technology Engineers to develop plans/specs when
structured cabling infrastructure adds/changes are required,
especially during M&A's and office relocations.
- Mentor IT Administrators and Analysts and provide guidance,
advice, feedback, and support of their IT networking services. Key
skills and abilities needed for the position are:
- Coordinate and perform wireless site surveys across all IMEG
locations and evaluate possible recommendations for changes.
Re-architect and implement required adjustments to provide a
superior wireless user experience using Meraki wireless devices.
Ability to read and understand wireless site surveys and make
recommendations based off those surveys is a must for this
position. This will be a day one project.
- Order, coordinate, configure, and manage invoices for internet
circuits, both IMEG and ongoing mergers and acquisitions
(M&A's), across the organization. Strong knowledge working with
aggregators, ISP's, and install techs is a must for this position.
Education and experience requirements are:
- 5+ years' experience with on-prem IT networking infrastructure.
Cisco/Meraki strongly preferred.
- 5+ years' experience with architecting, configuring, and
troubleshooting wireless networks. Cisco/Meraki strongly
preferred.
- 2+ years' experience with cloud IT networking infrastructure.
Azure strongly preferred.
- Exceptional technical writing skills for accurate and
details-oriented documentation of IT cloud infrastructure,
topology, and policies and procedures.
- Strong project management skills.
- Strong technical mentoring skills.
- Strong troubleshooting skills over a wide range of IT
networking infrastructure.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Systems is
required. Equivalent combination of education and experience may be
substituted for this requirement.
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a focus on
rapport-building, listening, and questioning skills.
- Ability to respond to after-hours requests on a limited basis.

computer
- Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times
