DescriptionJOB PURPOSE:
The Business Training Program Specialist focuses on the development
and continuous improvement of curriculum, design, and delivery of
small to large-scale training experiences as well as supports the
Business organizations with training documentation. They
collaborate with business partners around onboarding and ongoing
training as well as coaching opportunities.
KEY FUNCTIONS:
- Curate training content and experiences that compliment Midco
Business strategies, key performance indicators, and team member
development goals.
- Collaborate with business partners to document and develop
Business job-related documentation such as user guides, work
instructions, and procedures.
- Analyze, update, and refine Business-related training content
to ensure availability of accurate and high- quality information
through a variety of delivery methods.
- Assist the Business Training Program Manager in developing
successful, effective internal training programs, using a variety
of resources to evaluate usefulness and value of existing
programs.
- Execute on the Business training strategic plan by developing
technically written documents, identifying training curriculum
opportunities, and delivering on Business partner training
needs.
- Support the development and execution of Business team member
onboarding and ongoing training curricula and learning
experience.
- Collaborate across boundaries with internal stakeholders to
design and implement the most effective development solutions that
align with Midco Business strategies.
- Serve as subject matter expert on the design, build, and
integration of technical, customer service, sales, and support
functions into comprehensive curriculum for each training
function.
- Serve as a subject matter expert by guiding learners on
effective use of all available reference materials and tools at
their disposal.
- Partner with internal stakeholders and experts regarding
instructional design.
- Use known education principles and innovation using new
training methods and techniques.
- Demonstrate business acumen by maintaining proficient knowledge
of Midco products and services as well as current trends in web
technologies and design practices
- Work independently as well as in a team environment to meet
production deadlines.
- Compile monthly reports for Business Training Program.
- Follow and serve as a role model in displaying Midco's Core
Values and Leadership Success Drivers.
- Adhere to Midco's privacy guidelines to ensure each customer's
privacy.
- Maintain regular attendance as required by your position.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in HR,
communications, training, education, or business required.
- Three years of training, instruction design, adult learning or
equivalent experience required.
- Skills in technical and instructional writing
required.
- Advanced organizational skills with the ability to handle
multiple assignments.
- Must know or be able to learn and use online development tools
such as Adobe Creative Suite, Captivate, Vyond, and Canva.
- Experience with learning management systems and digital
delivery methods.
- Familiarity with traditional and modern job training methods
and techniques.
- Detail-oriented with great self-motivation, organization, and
strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Skilled in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and
PowerPoint) and Microsoft Office 365 (SharePoint, OneDrive, and
Outlook).
WORK ENVIRONMENT, PHYSICAL & MENTAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and
arms, stoop, kneel, or

and other than normal business hours, such as holidays, evenings,
and weekends as business demands.
