Job Description:
A company is looking for a Peer Support Specialist to assist
consumers and families in their recovery journey.
Key Responsibilities
Assist families and consumers in defining recovery goals and
developing necessary skills
Establish collaborative relationships with consumer and family
organizations to enhance involvement in health plan activities
Provide peer support and facilitate access to community resources
and services for consumers and families
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma/GED
Active and current or provisional Peer Support license
Reliable transportation with a current driver's license and
state-required insurance
1+ year of working knowledge of community resources
Demonstrated understanding of recovery and resiliency
principles
