We've placed a few people with this client who absolutely love their culture and this role is open due to an internal promotion within the organization. The Production Supervisor will lead a team of 30 reports, train/mentor/grow employees, manage the production schedule, emphasize safety and promote continuous improvement throughout the organization. We're looking for someone with around 3-5 years of Production Supervisor experience, a very strong communicator and someone who can drive change/motive employees every day. Set goals and hold employees accountable to achieve these goals.* Manage production scheduling and work with internal departments on any issues or corrective actions that need to be taken.* Create and maintain a culture that emphasizes safety, continuous improvement and lean manufacturing principles.* Other duties or projects as assigned.Qualifications* 3-5 years as a Production Supervisor or similar work experience.* Experience within a manufacturing environment.* Strong communication skills (both written & verbal).* Able to meet deadlines and prioritize responsibilities.* Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles.
