Today, we are united by our mission to develop a better and more sustainable planet for each of us.SUMMARYAs an Engineering Technician on the Mechanical Integration team you'll assist engineering working to integrate Raven's precision agriculture technology on farm machinery. Technicians assist by designing, testing, fabricating, and/or troubleshooting a process, system, assembly, or product.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Assist engineering and coordinate with internal teams on a variety of products and processes, including: engineering specifications, drawings, models, manuals, processes, or bill of materials.
• Research, investigate, and select technical data pertinent to the assigned project.
• Work with internal teams and external sources to obtain and communicate data relative to engineering requirements.
• Write test plans, conduct tests, and document results.
• Prepare and present technical reports and recommendations on projects.
• Participate in department improvement activities.
• Contributes to the team and projects in an above average manner.
• Lead or participate in department improvement activities.
• Perform troubleshooting to look for areas of opportunity, as well as compliance and implementation issues.
• With Engineering assistance, facilitate minor design projects from the concept stage through production, and make modifications as necessary.
• Responsible for defining technical approaches and tasks related to activities and minor projects.
• May be asked to interact with customer to install, monitor, troubleshoot, or repair products.
  QUALIFICATIONS
  • Minimum of an Associate's Degree in field related to specific position is preferred.
  • 3+ years experience in a related position, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Specific skills, proficiencies, and knowledge in field related to position, as identified by department leadership.
  • Basic problem analysis and problem solving techniques.
  • Capable of defining appropriate approaches and solutions. Able to define critical project criteria to ensure project completion.
  • Well-developed problem analysis and problem solving techniques.
  • Proficiency with a computer, including Microsoft Office.
  • Team player who is self-motivated, and has ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to work at a fast pace efficiently.
  • Ability to read drawings and work instructions, and maintain accurate records.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with team members and leadership staff.
