Job Description:
Building Products Inc. is seeking to add an experience
production lead to our growing team. - Due to recent internal
promotions we are seeking an individual to lead our exterior door
building shop. - The ideal candidate will have a mindset based on
problem solving and increased production. - This individual will
lead an experienced team with a focus on improving production and
processes to ensure quality builds. -Duties & Responsibilities:
Maintain day to day quality and work
load expectations.
Notify Manager of any and all tickets
that were unable to ship on time with reasoning.Distribute man
power based on daily work schedule.Manage daily cleaning and
preventative maintenance, list provided by manager.Supervise and
handle all defective material and make appropriate adjustments on
WMS.Attend morning Cell meetings with Supervisor.Check in with
Production Control at the end of shift to verify all work orders
have been scanned out.Maintain constant communication with manager
via phone or radio. (BPI Provided)Notify manager of any shortages
of material from other departments that would prevent order
completion.Help maintain accurate inventory counts in shop.Attend
Millwork Lead meetings daily.Be able to adjust to schedule changes
on a day to day basis -Skills & Requirements:
