Summary of functions: Multiple Dwelling Unit Sales Specialist is responsible for generating and following up on sales leads in assigned multiple dwelling territories, focusing on establishing agreements with MDUs as listed below and sell services at the facilities.--Provides service offerings and order quotations to customers and ensuring customer satisfaction.--Demonstrates commitment to Corporate Value System. The MDU Specialist will be expected to spend 25-30% of his/her time focused on MDUs and 70-75% on normal residential sales. The MDU Sales Specialist must be willing to host/sponsor agreed upon events in an effort to promote Vast and Vast services.-- --Duties and Responsibilities: --Establishes new agreements with MDUsRequired to make the established weekly quotaFollows up on leads generated by marketing activities; visits or telephones potential customers to discuss service needs.--Develops referrals and makes contacts to other potential candidates in assigned territory.--Ensures contacts receive marketing literature and price catalogs; answers any questions and obtains any further information necessary for customersSells Broadband Services and bundled services to residential customers in serviceable areas.Drives to designated node/assigned area for purposes of knocking doors of non-Vast Broadband residents identified by street sheetsDescribes and demonstrates the features, benefits and value of Vast Broadband product offerings, services, and billing proceduresMaintains company-established homes passed objectives, prospects, closing standards, bundling objectives and sales production standards with a focus on retention and churn managementSchedules customer installations in compliance with company policies and procedures.Provides assessment of customer premises to identify special wiring or hardware needs in order to ensure timely and efficient installationsAssists customers with ordering information, provides quotations on customer requirementsComplete sales orders and processes them accuratelyFollows up with customers; verifies customer satisfaction and resolves concerns--Works promotional events, evening and weekend timesParticipates in the development and implementation of the business strategy for the region.Submits reports to Supervisor; provides weekly sales summary, provides daily numbers each morning to Supervisor; provides sales orders (with cover sheet) each morning, and provides completed street sheets after territories are completely worked.Attends all scheduled meetings; includes daily sales meetings, monthly employee meetings, and any other company functions or scheduled sales meetings.Responsible for knowing all marketing campaign information, and be familiar with resources used for this positionProvides briefings on sales activities, problems, etc. to Supervisor as necessary or requestedPerforms any other appropriately related duty as requested by Supervisor Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education/Experience: High school diploma/GED is required; college degree in sales, marketing or business preferred and two to three years of professional sales experience is required.
