Analyst Job Description As a Quality Control Analyst, you will play
a crucial role in ensuring the quality of raw materials and
finished products in our Quality Control laboratory. You will be
responsible for conducting various chemistry and microbiological
analyses, maintaining lab equipment, and ensuring compliance with
established specifications. Responsibilities Conduct routine and
non-routine chemistry and microbiological analysis of raw
materials, in-process formulations, and final products according to
established specifications. Operate laboratory equipment and
instruments in accordance with laboratory procedures, including pH,
conductivity, UV, KF, FTIR, and titrations. Understand and follow
Quality Control test methods or compendia methods such as USP, EP,
BP, JP, or ACS and EXCIPACT standards. Calculate and generate data
for compliance to specifications and report results. Perform
technical review of lab data forms such as water, environmental
monitoring, and direct measure analysis. Calibrate and maintain lab
equipment. Enter final results and raw data for tested materials or
products in LIMS as needed. Perform investigative analysis to
support investigations, complaints, or instrument troubleshooting.
Conduct Environmental Monitoring duties, including gowning into
cleanrooms and collecting air and surface samples. Review
discrepancies in data, manufacture COA, COC, and perform data
verification in accordance with company procedures. Apply
appropriate disposition labels to materials (accepted, rejected,
etc.). Handle hazardous materials using all appropriate or
mandatory safety PPE and safety equipment. Complete documentation
legibly and review for accuracy. Perform sampling and testing for
USP Purified water and Water for Injection. Author, review, or
update lab procedures and lab instruments Work Instructions.
Perform microbiological tests such as bioburden, endotoxin, Dnase,
Rnase, Protease, and Phosphatase using proper aseptic techniques.
Prepare and properly dispose of microbial media. Essential Skills

Biochemistry Wet chemistry Additional Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a science discipline such as Chemistry or
Biology. 3 years of laboratory experience in a related field.
Experience with wet chemistry and microbial testing (e.g.,
Acid/Base Titrations, water content, Bioburden, Endotoxin).
Proficiency in aseptic techniques. Work Environment The role is
based in a lab and office environment with adequate lighting and
ventilation, maintaining a normal range of temperature and noise
levels. You may occasionally be exposed to a variety of chemicals,
including flammables, corrosives, and oxidizers. Work assignments
are varied, and you will often rely on past precedents to resolve
work problems, with the opportunity to develop new solutions. The
role is mostly sedentary but does require some physical activity
such as walking, standing, bending, reaching, and lifting or
carrying objects weighing less than 10 lbs. Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Aurora, OH. Pay
and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
