Job Description:
Mitchell Technical College is seeking an Electrical Construction
& Maintenance instructor to join the Mitchell Technical College
(MTC) Team the Fall 2026 semester. The position is open until
filled. Requirements and Qualifications A minimum three years’
experience (6,000 hours) in the electrical field. Journeyman
Electrician preferred. Associates Degree preferred. Knowledgeable
in electrical theory, principles, and condiut bending. Ability to
instruct on the NEC. Pass a state and federal criminal background
check. Preferred Skills Passion for training with a high level of
integrity, honesty, and professionalism. Communicate effectively,
master change, work in groups, and have strong customer
orientation. Preference will be given to applicants who have
related industry experience, teaching experience, evidence of
teaching skills, and experience working with diverse populations.
Excellent time management, organizational skills, and attention to
detail are a plus. The Instructor will be responsible for: Teaching
assigned courses; assessing student progress in classroom and
laboratory settings; developing and updating curriculum; and
assisting with recruiting and advising students. Leadership in both
academic and workforce areas to fulfill the educational goals and
objectives of the Electrical Construction & Maintenance program and
