Good Samaritan Health Center seeks a compassionate and experienced Senior Nursing Assistant, Certified, specializing in Long Term Care. This role is vital in our mission to deliver holistic, patient-centered care to underserved communities. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing direct, high-quality care to patients in our long-term care facility, working collaboratively with our healthcare team to maintain and enhance patient wellness and comfort. Provide basic patient care under direction of nursing staff Perform duties such as feeding, bathing, dressing, grooming, or moving patients, or changing linens Record vital signs, such as temperature, blood pressure, pulse, or respiration rate, as directed by medical or nursing staff Gather information from caregivers, nurses, or physicians about patient condition, treatment plans, or appropriate activities Observe or examine patients to detect symptoms that may require medical attention, such as bruises, open wounds, or blood in urine Document or report observations of patient behavior, complaints, or physical symptoms to nurses Stay up to date with best practices in patient care and assist in educating patients and their families on treatment plans Proficiency in basic patient care and hygiene standards Strong observational skills and attention to details Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to lift and move patients Proficient in documenting and maintaining accurate records Understanding of patient care regulations and privacy standards Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) required CPR/BLS Certification preferred
